The Secretary presented a deed of a certain portion of land known as the Col John Sweeney Rural Cemetery grounds which was given to this Association by the heirs of Col. John Sweeney.

On motion the aforesaid was accepted and the Secretary was requested to have the same recorded in the Book of Deeds in the Niagara Clerks Office.

On motion Hon Hiram Newell was appointed Superintendent of the Cemetery grounds.

On motion G. L. Judd Esq was appointed a committee to procure a statement of all moneys received or paid out for Improvements upon said Cemetery grounds previous to the present time.

On motion the Secretary was appointed a committee to ascertain persons who

On motion the Superintendent was instructed to employ Franklin Warren and other men to clear the walks and avenues in the Cemetery and the amount of labor expended for such purpose shall not exceed the amount of One Hundred Dollars.

On motion it was Resolved that the President and Treasurer be requested to execute Deeds of lots to all parties who will pay for their lots and collect the money for the same untill the next meeting of this board.

On motion the meeting was adjourned untill July 23rd at 8 Oclock P.M.

The committee upon Rules & Deeds reported and on motion the form heretofore used were adopted.

The Committee appointed upon title to lots reported persons who had not paid & those who had paid for their lots as far as could be ascertained.

In pursuance of motion authorizing the President & Treasurer to issue Deeds to Capt Chas Kelley Lot No 2 Section E for the sum of $25.00.

The Supt of the Cemetery reported an expense of 28 days labor to amount of $60.00. Said report not including the services of F. Warren.

Also sundry Expense to amount of $9.00 for Stakes & Lettering.

On motion it was resolved that the sum of ten (10) Dollars be added to the present price of money due on all lots for amount of expenditures for Stamps &c which accrue from the renewal of the new Deeds.

The President stated that the meeting was called for the purpose of taking action regarding of removing dead bodies from the cemetery.
On motion of E. B. Simson & seconded by A. A. Bellinger that the reading of the minutes of the last meeting be dispensed with. Carried.
On motion of A. A. Bellinger & seconded by E. B. Simson That any person desirous of removing a dead body from The Col. Jno. Sweeney Rural Cemetery they shall first obtain a certificate or permit from the local Board of Health & that they show such certificate or permit to the Sexton of the Cemetery before proceeding to remove the body or bodies. Carried.
As there was no further business to come before the meeting on motion of E. B. Simson & seconded by A. A. Bellinger that the Board adjourn subject to the call of the President. Carried.

The chairman stated that the meeting was called for the purpose of electing a President Treasurer & Secretary for the year 1910.

On motion of A. A. Bellinger seconded by Jno. Lockman that E. B. Simson cast one ballot for Henry Carney for president. Carried. Mr. Simson having cast one ballot for Mr. Henry Carney the Chairman declared him duly elected president for ensuing year.
On motion of John Lockman & seconded by A. A. Bellinger that E. B. Simson cast one ballot for E. H. Hewett for secretary. Carried. Mr. Simson having cast one ballot for Mr. Hewett the president declared him duly elected Secretary for ensuing year.
